Diamond is about a girl named Cadence who has the ability to cry diamond tears, which her parents abuse to rise up the royal ranks, fund their lavish lifestyle, and guilt trip Cadence into paying for her ill sister's pricey treatments.
She thinks she's born with this ability until a chance encounter with a mysterious girl at the King's Summer Solstice ball where she learns she was cursed with her diamond abilities. She sets off for the City of Magi to find the answers to her past and hopefully her freedom.
